On Friday 13 December 2024, starting at 9:00, the day dedicated to the 2024 Report “Biodiversity Observatory of the Po Delta Regional Park of Emilia-Romagna” will be held at the Manifattura dei Marinati di Comacchio (in Corso G. Mazzini, 200, Comacchio – Ferrara).
The day will feature a series of speeches dedicated to projects, scientific research activities and data collection on the Park’s biodiversity updated with the latest actions for the year 2024.
LIFE Programme has made a significant contribution in this area and will be present at the event by illustrating the initiatives and results of 3 projects of which the Management Body for Parks and Biodiversity – Po Delta is a beneficiary:
Lifeel Project – Urgent measures in the Eastern Mediterranean for the long-term conservation of the European eel;
LIFE NatuReef – Biogenic reefs as a nature-based solution for coastal defense and the enhancement of marine biodiversity;
LIFE Perdix Project – Urgent actions for the conservation of the biodiversity of the Italian partridge (Perdix perdix italica).
