Stefania Volani, Ispra researcher and invaluable collaborator of our project, managed to film a partridge without an identifying ring for us at Mezzano. That partridge could be considered the daughter of a natural reproduction, however in these cases great caution is needed, because the individual in question could also have lost his ring, a difficult but not impossible eventuality.
What we can tell you with certainty is that there are really a lot of gang brigades at Mezzano!
