On World Earth Day, excellent news for our project: the Ferrara Plain Reclamation Consortium has just signed an agreement of fundamental importance with ISPRA, a LIFE Perdix partner.

The Consortium, we remind you, is the sole manager of the state-owned areas affected by the placement of some of the acclimatization enclosures of the Italic partridges and, in addition to concretely contributing to the success of the project, by making a part of the hydraulic appurtenances of the canals available free of charge for the environmental improvement and reintroduction, thus facilitates agreements between Farmer Concessionaries and Partners of Life Perdix.

“With the signing of this agreement – declared Stefano Calderoni, President of the Consortium – we are further committed to supporting the activities of this ambitious project consistent with the development of multifunctionality and the natural and quality potential of the Mezzano area. Specifically, it will be important for the identification of land suitable for setting up additional settling structures, for interventions of non-use and postponement of the mowing of spontaneous (and sown) grasses beside the canals, for the involvement of specialized personnel in the creation of services for environmental preparations (such as the construction of beetle banks and other disposable crops) “.
