Last Sunday the excursion through the Mezzano Valley organized by ISPRA took place as part of the activities promoted by “NET – Science together” on the occasion of the Researchers’ Night on September 24th.

After listening to a brief introduction to the history, geography and fauna of the Mezzano from the story of a representative of the Po Delta Park, the numerous participants in the walk were led by the ISPRA researchers to visit the enclosures and the aviaries of the partridge, where they described the operational methods of the project in a particularly delicate phase such as that of the first releases into nature.

The excursion aroused a keen interest of the participants, who were able not only to spot the released partridges, but also to appreciate their flights outside the enclosure.
